I need to clear something up before I start: I don’t want to hug a polar bear, I don’t want to sing around a campfire and the only reason I don’t drive is due to overwhelming apathy but I do care about global warming. There is a chance that - at some point in the future - I will be severely inconvenienced by global warming and inconvenience is one thing that I will fight to the death to avoid. Extreme weather, finite resources reaching their limit and the loss of polar bear calendars all seek to infringe upon my cushy life in several decades time and not enough is being done about it. Things are tough at the moment. There’s no money left, every man and his dog has a nuclear arsenal and Ludacris is featured on a song written by a 15 year old.
